Who we are
Here's the deal, Foothills Worship Center cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Foothills is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
Where we come from
Foothills Worship Center was started after the Foothills United Methodist Church in Gloversville, N.Y. moved into our new location in Johnstown, N.Y. A group of faithful members sought to give the church a fresh start and create a place where new ministries could thrive and reach new families with God's love. We imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. FWC hosted its first worship gathering on August 14, 2022.
Where we're headed
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Foothills Worship Center is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
